  • Government Expenditure in Appropriation bill 2020/21

The appropriation bill for 2020 & 2021 was presented to Parliament ahead of the budget speech.

The draft bill shows an increase in expenditure to LKR 3,654 Bn in 2021 which could widen the budget deficit unless revenue enhancement measures are adopted.
